Happy New Year, readers!

With 2020 behind us, it’s time to look forward at a brighter 2021!

Perhaps you are shaking off 2020 with some new year resolutions…

As we start the new year off fresh, we hope to do more to engage our fans (because we haven’t forgotten about you, and we hope you haven’t forgotten about us!) We thought it would be fun to help you all get to know your JCRD league better!

This week I polled our league members what their opinion is on New Years resolutions. This is what they had to say:

10% said they definitely need that motivation for self improvement
42% are just fine doing their thing
32% would have normally made New Year’s resolutions but this year was… well… different.

Some league members filled in answers and said that they make resolutions throughout the year. (Continual self improvement! Woohoo!)
My favorite filled in response was that one league member didn’t make a resolution, but rather a theme for the coming year: Art and Activism; “to view, explore, make and be art” and to seek the “new opportunities (with the new presidency) to demand equity and change”. What an aspiring theme for the year!
