Soccer and swim teams growing up. Found running post college when a friend just told me to do it - fast forward to my running the Dublin, Ireland marathon in 2001. A couple of mini triathlons. Old Man introduced me to mountain biking when we started dating. And some downhill skiing with the family.

Born in Houston, TX a looooong time ago. Lived in Tucson, AZ, then Atlanta, GA, before making Seattle my permanent home. Worked in the Seattle's Mayor's Office for many years - now teach preschool, so basically the same job. I'm a mother to my two kids and wife to Old Man.
