Jet City Roller Derby unequivocally opposes the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling upholding state bans on transgender athletes in girls’ and women’s sports. Every athlete deserves the chance to compete in the sport they love without being excluded for who they are.
We stand with transgender, non-binary, and gender expansive members of our roller derby community: skaters, officials, volunteers, and fans alike. Transphobia hurts everyone. We remain committed to full inclusion of transgender athletes in this sport we love, and we firmly reject exclusion in all forms.
